A bird’s-eye view of a country landscape, complete with fields of cultivated flowers, leads the viewer down the hill to a wild barrier of green trees and fields that end at the ocean water of Clam Cove, NB. The purple and turquoise stripes of sky reflect the juxtaposed stripes of green, blue, and turquoise of the garden – purples, reds, yellows – filling row over row within a red and purple fence. It’s a peaceful scene, though occupied with beautiful plantings.
