Aptly named, the black hills and purple sky show a nearly completed sunset landscape. The darkness settles on the deep dark blue of the watery marsh and its dark green vegetation. Only the orange streak across the water and reeds and grasses highlighted in yellow and light green bears witness to the final moments before the sun disappears for the night.
