A springtime meadow flanked by towering trees on either side flows and nearly merges with itself as it continues into the unseen distance. The treetops wear the same fresh green that seems to cascade off into the far reaches of the forest beyond to meet with the clearing. The light blue of the sky is almost invisible. The blues of the forest shadows lead us back and forth to explore the thick forest’s black depths where tree trunks are barely visible. Is that water along the edges of the meadow? Or just shadows?
